Kolb Has Shaky First Start.

The Kevin Kolb Era has begun.

Kevin Kolb’s day ended at halftime of the Eagles’ 27-20 loss to the Packers.

Honestly, it never really began. What was supposed to be a big day for the 26 year-old quarterback turned into a disaster that lasted for the first two quarters of the game.  The icing on the cake came when he was taken down by Packers linebacker Clay Matthews and suffered a concussion as a result. It was a bad ending to a bad day.

To make matters worse for Kolb, Michael Vick came in and led the Eagles on 3 scoring drives, two of which resulted in touchdowns. Knowing Andy Reid, Kevin Kolb will most likely start against the Lions and hopefully redeem himself.

At any rate, the Eagles are still looking for their first win of the season, which they will hopefully get next week against the Detroit Lions.
